According to Article 12 of the Dutch National Driving Hours Decree (Nationaal Rijtijdenbesluit), business vehicles with a loading capacity of more than 500 kg must carry a first aid kit. The small and compact size of these first aid kits makes them ideal for use in trucks, agricultural vehicles, inland waterways vessels and lorries.
