Made of recycled PET (RPET)

The lids are made of robust, recycled PET, or RPET. The crystal-clear material allows the beautifully laid-out contents of the presentation platters to be seen while remaining hygienically closed and ensure the entire presentation looks professional and luxurious. What is RPET?

PET is a plastic material used to produce (soft) drink bottles used by consumers. After use these PET bottles are collected and melted to create RPET – a new, recycled, material that is used to manufacture new packaging. Converting PET into RPET is less harmful for the environment than using new raw materials to make new PET. After it has been used packaging that includes RPET can be recycled in just the same way as traditional PET packaging.
